Terms of Service
Last updated May 13, 2026
The short version
- Bindly Insurance is an independent licensed insurance agency. We help commercial trucking and transportation businesses find, compare, and bind commercial P&C coverage.
- Our help is free to you. Carriers pay us a commission when you bind a policy through us.
- We're an agent — not a carrier. The insurance contract is between you and the carrier you choose.
- By using this site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using bindlyinsurance.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What Bindly Insurance does
Bindly Insurance is a licensed insurance agency. Our agency licensing information appears in the footer of every page and on the Licensing page. We act as your agent to find, compare, and bind commercial property & casualty coverage, including but not limited to: commercial auto, motor truck cargo, general liability, physical damage, non-trucking liability, and trailer interchange.
We are not an insurance company. Coverage is provided by the carrier whose policy you bind. The terms of your coverage are set by the carrier's policy documents, not by Bindly Insurance.
3. Eligibility
To use the site or work with us, you must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your business to commercial contracts. Coverage availability varies by state.
4. Your account
If you create an account to access the customer portal at bindlyinsurance.com/dashboard, you're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access by reaching us through the Contact page.
5. Communications
By providing your contact details and the relevant consents on our forms, you agree that we may contact you about your quote, policy, and the services you've requested. SMS messaging is opt-in and you may reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Service-related communications (e.g., premium due reminders, policy renewal notices) are required to operate your policy and cannot be turned off.
Marketing-only communications can be opted out of at any time via the email-preferences page in your account or via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email we send.
6. Our compensation
Bindly Insurance is compensated by insurance carriers when a customer binds a policy through us. We disclose any additional compensation arrangements (e.g., contingent commissions, override commissions) on request — reach us through the Contact page.
7. No legal or financial advice
Our producers help you understand commercial insurance products and choose among them. We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice — for those, please consult a qualified professional.
8. Third-party services
The site uses third-party services (e.g., Cloudflare, Clerk, Paubox). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms. We do our best to choose providers that meet our privacy and security standards (see Privacy Policy).
9. Accuracy of information
You agree to provide accurate, complete information when requesting a quote or binding coverage. Misrepresentations on an application can cause a carrier to deny a claim or rescind coverage, and may have legal consequences. If your operation changes (units, drivers, radius, commodity, loss history), promptly notify us so we can update your coverage as needed.
10. Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bindly Insurance disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Quote and policy information displayed on the site is provided by carriers and quoting partners and may change without notice. The carrier's policy documents are the binding source of truth for coverage terms.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bindly Insurance and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the site or our services. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of the site or our services is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or fraud.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Bindly Insurance harmless from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the site, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or misconduct.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes relating to insurance coverage are subject to the laws of the state where the policy is issued.
We'll always try to resolve a problem informally first. Please reach us through the Contact page before pursuing formal legal action — most disputes can be sorted out in a single conversation.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we'll notify you by email (if we have one on file) and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new Terms.
15. Termination
You can stop using bindlyinsurance.com at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the site for abuse, suspected fraud, or violation of these Terms. Termination of your account does not affect your existing insurance coverage — your relationship with the carrier continues per the carrier's policy.
