Questions roofers ask

Straight answers.

The questions we hear most, answered plainly.

How is roofing insurance priced?

General liability is priced on your revenue or payroll, plus your mix of residential and commercial work, your years in business, and your claims.

Do I need workers’ comp if it’s just me?

Often not by law, but many GCs still ask for a certificate. Some owner-operators carry a minimum policy for that reason.

How fast can I get a certificate?

Once your policy is bound, you request certificates from your client login, with the wording your contract asks for.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes. Most policies can be paid in full or monthly.
